This article proposes to give visibility to an experience lived with students of the 4th Period of the Technical Professional Education Course of Middle Level in Nursing of the Instituto Federal Norte de Minas Gerais (IFNMG), Campus Januária from a fanzine workshop, whose objective was to to analyze the critical potential of this communicative resource in facing the contradictions of social reality. This is because working with fanzines is an opportunity to stimulate the creative and creative power of the subject, expressed in a free, artisanal and authorial way. In this way, bringing the Fanzine to the pedagogical space of professional and technological education is an opportunity to give voice to working class youth, promoting their role in the direction of building critical awareness.
