ECOJUSTICE GAME: TEACHING ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE

The environmental distributive conflicts are the object of environmental justice. Is it possible to make this issue a teaching content under an interdisciplinary approach? Taken from the perspective of the training of higher education students in the legal and biological areas, these questions motivated to investigate how gamification can be considered a strategy for the optimization of teaching in order to the analysis of environmental problems experienced by society. Thus, the research conducted has as object the game ECOJUSTICE, with content and objectives that support a Quiz Game on a digital platform, where players must answer multiple choice questions on interdisciplinary socio-environmental themes, that use legal knowledge of branches of Brazilian Law. The results obtained with the application of the game demonstrated its effectiveness as a resource capable of producing knowledge, awakening critical reflection and developing attitudinal competences with the sample of participating students.
